Janet is a CMA and CA with 25 years experience in public accounting. From 1996, Janet operated her own firm, Janet Thompson Chartered Accountant. But, after being in Kitchener-Waterloo for many years, she wanted to look at being closer to family in the Belleville area. So, after knowing George for over 15 years, starting when they worked together at Deloitte & Touche, and developing a good relationship with Peter, she took the opportunity to continue her practice with Dube & Cuttini.
From October 1st, 2011, Janet has moved into our offices at 103 Queen Street, and is providing accounting services for Dube & Cuttini into next summer to ensure a smooth transition. After a year she will be moving back to Belleville to be near her family, knowing that her clients will receive quality, personal service from George and Peter, and their team at Dube & Cuttini.
Outside of work Janet is also a member of the Legal Aid Appeals Committee. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
